You do not have to carry everything alone
Perhaps you are the person others rely on - the capable one who keeps going, manages the details and holds everything together.
Yet underneath, you may feel anxious, depleted, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself. You may understand your patterns intellectually but still find yourself caught in the same emotional responses, limiting beliefs or cycles of overthinking, perfectionism and people-pleasing.
You might not need someone to tell you to try harder.
You may need a space where you can slow down, feel genuinely understood and begin creating change in a way that feels safe.
At Your Emotional Ally, you will be met with warmth, compassion and respect. Together, we can gently explore what is happening beneath the surface and support you to move forward with greater calm, confidence and emotional freedom.
A gentle and empowering way forward
Meaningful change is difficult when your nervous system feels overwhelmed, threatened or exhausted.
My approach begins by creating a strong sense of emotional safety. You will never be expected to share more than you are ready to, force yourself through distress or follow a one-size-fits-all process.
Instead, our work is collaborative and tailored to you.
Drawing on person-centred counselling, trauma-informed Emotional Freedom Techniques and Positive Psychology, I can help you understand your responses, work compassionately with difficult emotions and reconnect with the strengths and inner resources you already carry.
The aim is not to “fix” you. It is to help you feel supported, empowered and more able to meet life with clarity, resilience and self-trust.
How I can support you
You may benefit from working together if you are experiencing:
Anxiety, overthinking or emotional overwhelm
Chronic stress or burnout
Trauma or the lasting effects of difficult experiences
Grief, loss or a significant life transition
Perfectionism, people-pleasing or imposter syndrome
Limiting beliefs or persistent self-doubt
Difficulty setting boundaries or expressing your needs
Reduced confidence or a sense of having lost yourself
Emotional patterns that continue despite insight and self-awareness
A desire to feel calmer, more resilient and more connected to yourself
You do not need to wait until things become unbearable. Support can also provide space for reflection, personal growth and a more intentional way of living.
Counselling & Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
Counselling offers a confidential and supportive space to explore your experiences, emotions, relationships and concerns. It can help you gain insight, recognise patterns and discover choices that feel more aligned with who you are.
Emotional Freedom Techniques - often called EFT or tapping - is a gentle mind-body approach involving focused attention and tapping on specific acupressure points. It can be incorporated into counselling to support emotional regulation and help reduce the intensity associated with distressing thoughts, emotions, memories or shift limiting beliefs.
Some clients prefer counselling, some are drawn to EFT and others benefit from an integration of both. Together, we can decide what feels most appropriate for you.
Private 90-minute online sessions
